One engineer, the whole delivery chain.

I am Aleksei Shchukin. I have been in the AV industry since 2009 and programming control systems since 2012. Before starting Pike AV, I ran AV design and delivery for corporate headquarters, museums and international events — first building the audiovisual department at the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center, then leading a 30-person integration team that delivered systems for Shell, Huawei, Ericsson and Sberbank.

That background means I have sat in every seat on a project: budgeting, drawings, procurement, rack build, code, commissioning, client training and the service call two years later. Most AV problems happen in the gaps between those seats. With Pike AV, there are no gaps — you talk to the person writing the code and signing off the room.

I work directly with end clients, and also as a subcontractor to integrators who need programming or commissioning capacity on a deadline.

How it works

Four stages, nothing hidden

Every project runs the same way, whether it is a single huddle room or a floor of them. You know the cost and the schedule before work starts.

  1. Stage 1

    Site visit and scope

    I look at the space, the existing kit and the network, and ask what the room has to do. You get a written scope and a fixed price or a rate and an estimate.

  2. Stage 2

    Design and documentation

    Signal flow, rack layout, equipment schedule and a user interface concept, reviewed with you before anything is ordered or built.

  3. Stage 3

    Build and program

    Rack build, installation supervision, control programming and DSP work. Weekly progress notes so nothing surprises you late.

  4. Stage 4

    Commission and hand over

    Testing against the scope, punch list cleared, staff trained, documentation and source code delivered to you. Then a service plan if you want one.

AV Design Engineer

Felix Media Solutions

Design, programming and service of AV systems across the Greater Austin area — first as a remote contractor, then full time after relocating to the United States. Rebuilt the company's project documentation forms and built internal tools that automated routine engineering paperwork.

2018 — 20257 years

Senior AV Project Manager

INEX Group

Founded and led the audio-video department, delivering more than 30 major systems for the offices of Huawei, VK, Gazprombank, Shell, Ericsson and Sberbank. Scope covered lighting control, media facades, professional audio, video conferencing, building networks, interactive installations and digital signage. Mentored over 30 engineers, programmers, designers and technicians, and built the warranty and maintenance offering the department ran on.

2015 — 20183 years

AV Department Leader

Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center

Built the multimedia and audiovisual department from scratch at Russia's largest museum, supporting every permanent exhibition and event. Ran the full delivery cycle: budgeting, design, supplier negotiation, construction oversight, installation, documentation and training. Operated the world's largest stationary projection installation and the center's cinema hall.

2008 — 20157 years

AV, IT and Network Engineer

Early career

Hands-on years: installation, cabling, networks, control programming and live event support. AV design and management for the G20 Summit, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and the FINA World Aquatics Championships.
